L' ARTISTA
My name's Jaclyn, but my online alias is Jacy. I guess if I had to sell myself in a few words, I'd say that I'm a sickly sweet, eccentric, bubbily, and overall-- really dorky. I just transfered from UCI as a studio art major to CSULB as a pre-graphic design major. I've been living in southern California for six years, but I'll always be a Texan at heart..

Right now, I am a graphic designer at a studio in Newport Beach. My goal is to become an art director doing product development before 30.

INTERESTS
Drawing, painting, children, music, history, culture, counterculture, volvos (164s), thrifting, sewing...

When I was younger, I would have said I liked simulation games, RTS games, and puzzle games... favorites included The Sims, Starcraft, FF6, DiabloII, Puzzle Bobble Fighter, and of course Tetris. I know, what a dork, haha.

I use to watch anime a lot when I was younger too.. my favorite series included Kare Kano, Furuba, Kodomo no Omocha, Rurouni Kenshin, Fushigi Yuugi, and Escaflowne. I don't really watch much anymore, but there are still a few series that I've always been meaning to watch.

MUSIC
Lately I've been listening to a lot of Of Montreal, Four Tet, Out Hud/!!!, Nectarine No.9, Rasputina, The Skills... but my favorite bands are Cursive, Built to Spill, Pinback, The Smiths, Thursday.. if you're curious about what else I listen to, you can check out my music profile.
